SIGNS OF SPRING.

I found a butterfly today. In my kitchen. It is a beautiful colourful one and very weak after hubernating somewhere in my house over winter.  Butterflies are special to me, they remind me of Don Felders guitar playing and making this little fellows life easier seemed suddenly very important. To see it sitting there on a plant in my window with the masses of snow outside was such a contradicition.  I really hope it'll be OK and live through these coming weeks until real spring will be here.  At least it is safe and warm and has some food to get strength from.

The sight was a good reminder of days to come. Sun and warmth.  It was a good start of the day.

AT LAST.

After months of inactivity I have finally had time to update the site a bit. Many pages are under construction but will soon be up. Old as new ones. 
I hope you'll like them.

UPDATE.

Some very necessary updates are now taking place.  The Don Felder page is the first new one. The Forum is also active again. Thank you for your patience, visitors:).

I can  show more very nice photos of Don (can be viewed here)and other celebs from the Alice Cooper Celebrity Golf Tournament for his Solid Rock Foundation Charity that took place May 1st and 2nd 2005.   It seems they had a great time onstage. anyone more than me who wish they were a fly on the wall??  ;-)

AND SO THE YEAR ENDED WELL.

To all my visitors. 

This site is for the music and for the three musicians I especially appreciate and admire. Don Felder, Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner. I always loved the Eagles' music as it always talked to my heart.  Knowing how much these three guys meant to the forming and continuance and developement of that group only makes me admire them more. Today I have learned so much more about my top trio. I have got to listen to so much more than just the old Eagle stuff but to their solo work. They all three have made some very wonderful CD's and albums.  In time I hope to present more about their later music too, if only I can find a legal way to do it.

I made the site for my own pleasure. To have something to do in my sparetime and for the challange to find if I could learn how to manage a website. To create. I didn't know anything at all about webdesigning when I started. As time goes by  things move forward and the more I learn the more I want to learn and everything escalates. 

This site is totally non commercial.  I don't want to involve money in it in any way. That would ruin the whole idea. My hope is of course to meet people who like me let the music into their hearts and just follow the waves.  Who get affected by a tune, harmony, a guitar chord, a solo, a text or just a line, well just a small detail. Because that is what I do. I get carried away and I sometime don't even know who made the music that hit my solar plexus. People with knowledge are an asset of course.

Hopefully it is now more understandable what I am doing and why, and hopefully visitors will feel confortable here. Maybe enough to say a word or two in the Forum - or here. 

But last and definitely not least I must say - and with emphazis. The Best musicians I know are my trio.  Don, Bernie and Randy.  De Be aR.  And I dedicate this website to them.

ANOTHER DISASTER.

A total laptop crash has occurred.  It seems everything is lost. I hope it will be solved in an instant, or you won't see any updates in a couple of weeks. 

I could need a good joke now, if anoyne would be so kind....
